Today, according to the decision of the Deposit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter – the DGF) Executive Board, a provisional administration was introduced in JSC "SENSE BANK". The DGF team already works in the Bank and carries out all the measures within the powers defined by the law.
Taking into account the fact that JSC "SENSE BANK" (hereinafter – the Bank) is included in the list of systemically important banks, the National Bank of Ukraine (hereinafter – the NBU), as reported, sent a proposal to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regarding the State’s participation in the Bank’s resolution. The decision of the Government will be announced later.
As of now, the DGF ensures stable business operations of the Bank. Services for individuals are operating normally. In particular, payments and cash withdrawals at ATMs are available for individuals within the usual limits set by the regulator and the Bank without any additional restrictions from the DGF. Payments of legal entities are accepted without restrictions.
Recall that following the adoption of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the State’s participation in JSC "SENSE BANK"’s resolution, the DGF shall terminate the provisional administration no longer than two days after receiving the decision in question.
After the sale of JSC "SENSE BANK"’s shares to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Bank will be transferred into the ownership of the State.
